I have just watched your courageous story. Your Jazz is very blessed to have parents that without a doubt know and live the true meaning of unconditional love. As she grows and matures into a vibrant, beautiful, young woman and she will, she has a true sense of being valued and loved. You have given her that. Your story has touched my heart. Your gift of acceptance is truly remarkable. Sincerely Michelle Brown

Your story is very moving, and I think it is great that you know what you want, and who you are. You are so fortunate to have parents that are so supportive and loving. Keep being yourself and you are beautiful!

Jazz, You are so fortunate to have found yourself at such a young age and have parents and siblings that are so supportive. Your whole life is ahead of you and I’m sure you will stand out in whatever you do. I grew up in a much different era and without the family support I would have needed to “be who I really wanted to be”. I am now in my 60’s and throughout my lifetime, I have hidden the real me. Please don’t get me wrong, I’ve had a good life and I have a wonderful family, kids and grandkids, but inside I’ve suffered and I’m sure my happiness has been suppressed. Jazz, you are trully blessed. Have a wonderful life.

We need something like this in Australia.

I have had no direct contact with anyone transgender, but I want to advocate for this group of people, and be a force for information and education. What can you suggest?

All the best to your brilliant family – Chris

    Jeanette & Greg,

You are both truly inspiring parents. Jazz is a wonderful young girl and she is a credit to both of you, as are all of your children [I know you already know that]. As someone who transitioned in her mid 20’s I can appreciate now, some of the wonderful experiences that Jazz will have – her life will be truly remarkable [it already is]. Your story has touched me deeply and my only hope is that the strength & courage shown by all of you will spread like a wildfire and be a beacon for any parents who have kids with GID. The world is a much, much brighter place with all of you in it. I am in awe. Such an amazing family.

Teas na síochána agus sonas a thabhaírt duit go léir,

    clíodhna :)

How old is jazz now? I’m ftm myself and I was wondering how old she was. Why? because I would really like to meet jazz and my prom is coming up. If she is around my age I’d love to take her. If she isn’t though, I’d still love to meet her. Her and her family are amazing.

    1. Jeanette says:

      Hi Chris,

Thanks so much for inviting Jazz to your prom. You are very sweet but, Jazz is only 12 and in the 6th grade. Perhaps in about 5 years. ;)

  9. Jacob says:

Hi, Jazz & her family. I’m a middle schooler myself, too. & after watching the videos of Jazz, I really couldn’t stop thinking about her & her story. Just watching her videos remind me that it shouldn’t really just care about how you look, but in the inside. & what I see in the inside of Jazz is someone who is amazing, so kind-hearted, inspirational, and just BEAUTIFUL inside and out.
To Jazz: You’re amazing and so unique to others and me. If you want to find that guy you want to date, they’ll look inside of you and find that amazing-self you have, Jazz, like the way I look at you, & they’ll be perfect for you. Don’t let anyone change the way you are, because you are PERFECT just the way you are, don’t forget that.
I hope Jazz & your family gets to read this & understand what I mean here. This family is amazing & don’t let anyone change you guys.
